Wild Stonefish – Sour Barrel Aged Barleywine

Lactobacillus and other wild cultures sours and dries out this traditionally rich and full bodied Stonefish. Brewed in 2012 this beer spent 3 years in a 2nd fill oak barrel and delivers a spectacularly complex yet drinkable beer. The variety of flavour and surprisingly dry, refreshing sour palate suggests a much lighter beer than the 10% punch it packs. Enjoy with rich bold meat dishes.
